You are welcome to help yourself to seasonal produce, and we will show you what is ready. Right now this is pumpkins, butternut squash, tomatoes, chillies (Russian roulette!), peppers, carrots, beetroot, Jerusalem artichokes, calabrese, purple sprouting broccoli, Florence fennel and a wide array of salads (rocket, beet leaves, mixed lettuce) and fresh leafy greens – spinach, Chinese cabbage, Japanese kale, Oriental mustards, chrysanthemum greens, pak choi, spinach mustard…

Unfortunately this list will diminish towards Christmas – though we will always have plenty of fresh leafy greens and salad leaves throughout the winter. And by Easter we should start getting really tasty again, with fresh garlic, mangetous peas, new potatoes, radishes, rhubarb, globe artichokes…

And then the fruit begins – pink currants, cherries, jostaberries, raspberries, blackcurrants,  figs, gooseberries the size of plums – yum, can’t wait!
