Extra Sleeping Space

In between The Brick Barn and The Long Barn is a sleeping loft ideal for 4 teenagers or 4 extra adults. It is accessed up a safety ladder so it is not for the faint hearted and agility is required to enter and exit the hideaway. 

Over 100 years ago a steam powered traction engine would have been parked beneath this loft, for threshing the grains from the straw, and driving the mill wheels to roll the barley. 

The Sleeping Loft has access to a loo and shower block 60m away and must be booked alongside a barn stay.  

Book The Sleeping Loft by request: £100 per night or £250 for a 3/ 4 night stay.

What else is on the farm?

  • Get back to nature and feed the livestock – carrots to the pigs and bottle feed the lambs, calves and kids

  • Each barn has a basket for harvesting seasonal fruit / vegetables and collecting eggs – please help yourself and enjoy the pleasure!

  • A games room with table tennis table for guests to enjoy

  • A laundry room with washing machines, dryers, an iron and baskets

  • Unlimited supply of kindling and logs

  • Extra loos and showers in a separate block

  • BBQs and braziers for outdoor dining

  • Large shared garden with a BBQ area to enjoy the evening sun
